Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide private duty nursing care to patients in their homes. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver one-on-one, patient-centered care in a comfortable and supportive home environment. Our LVNs work closely with patients, families, and a team of healthcare professionals to help clients live safely and comfortably at home.

Responsibilities:

+ Deliver skilled nursing care as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the nurse practice act.

+ Monitor and record patient conditions including vital signs and symptoms.

+ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

+ Provide care for patients with specialized needs (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube).

+ Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and care plans.

+ Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Maxim’s standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Communicate effectively with the care team and participate in care planning.

+ Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic home environment.

Qualifications

+ Current and unencumbered LVN license in the state of practice.

+ BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).

+ One year of relevant nursing experience preferred (pediatrics or adult home health).

+ Strong clinical and assessment skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

+ Experience with specialized care such as trach/vent, G-tube, seizure disorders (preferred but not required).

+ Successful completion of background check, and health screenings
