    Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO RAR Consultant who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

     

    **Role:** SAP FICO RAR Consultant

    **Job Level:** Manager

    **Location:** Austin, TX. Work from Home – Hybrid. 3 days onsite in Austin TX and 2 days remote

    **Duration:** Full Time only

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO RAR Consultant with a minimum of 10 years of SAP consulting experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end SAP implementations, deep knowledge of the order-to-cash process, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex project environments.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead and execute full lifecycle SAP RAR implementations, including RAR migration projects.

    + Design and configure SAP RAR solutions integrated with FI, SD, and/or BRIM modules.

    + Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system design.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and propose scalable solutions.

    + Manage on-site and offshore teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of project milestones.

    + Provide expertise in revenue recognition processes, IFRS 15/16 compliance, and COPA integration.

    + Utilize BRF+ for business rule configuration (preferred).

    + Conduct workshops, prepare documentation, and deliver presentations to business and technical audiences.

    + Support project management activities including planning, risk management, and reporting.

    + Identify opportunities to expand team capabilities and improve delivery efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 10 years of SAP consulting experience with at least 3 years in SAP RAR.

    + At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP RAR, including migration experience.

    + Strong understanding of order-to-cash, SD/FICO integration, BRIM, IFRS 16, COPA, and Revenue Recognition.

    + Experience in solution design and configuration across RAR, SD, and FI/CO modules.

    + Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering best-practice solutions.

    + Prior experience in high-tech or software industries with solid accounting knowledge.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and executive presentations.

    + Experience working in an onsite-offshore model and managing global stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

    + Knowledge of BRF+.

    + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

    + CPA or CPA-equivalent certification is a plus.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
