    Description

    Job Summary

    The Production Clerk shall be responsible for the monitoring and control of production-related duties including, but not limited to, daily inventory, railcar and trucking shipments, appointment scheduling and product control level reporting. Their scope of work will also include that in relation to Title V reporting, production data input, and other duties specified by the Plant Manager.

     

    Support and enforce SQF / QA, GMP, Safety policies and procedures, and production needs. “Food Safety and Quality” are the responsibilities of this position.

     

    In the absence of a Production Clerk, responsibilities will be covered by the Butter Manager and/or the Butter Supervisor.

     

    Essential Functions List of significant/essential duties, tasks and/or responsibilities required of this position.

     

    • Report to and follows the directions of Plant Manager.

    • Complete and maintain weekly reports. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. Complete correspondence as needed.

    • Keep management personnel up to date on warehouse operations through verbal and written communications.

    • Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly and file.

    • Compiles and tracks data from daily Production History Report.

    • Keeps running track of production on both P6 and P7 dryers.

    • Performs entry of emissions data into Title V database program.

    • Prepares and presents monthly Title V data to Plant Manager.

    • Prepares and submits Annual and Semi-Annual Title V documentation.

    • Create purchase orders for new footwear requests, manage inventory of shoes and overshoes kept on-site.

    • Assist with the ordering of supplies and packaging.

    • Work with outside vendors.

    • Assist Supervisors with payroll review and collecting documents for submission.

    • Provide support services to other departments, including HR, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Safety and Warehouse as needed.

    • Follow all safety and working rules.

    • Must have the ability to get along with co-workers, management personnel, customers, vendors, and employees in accordance with the company policies and working rules while ensuring a harmonious and conducive work environment.

    • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality environment.

    • Excellent regular full time attendance in support of company objectives.

    • Use initiative and judgment in making decisions, keeping with California Dairies, Inc. best interests.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
