Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on commercial construction projects ranging from $5 to $15 million in size, including healthcare, sr living, and higher education facilities. With a growing company that has been established for over 30 years, there is ample room for professional development and advancement.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion.

+ Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely delivery of projects.

+ Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

+ Utilize Procore software for project management and documentation.

+ Conduct occasional site visits to ensure project progression and compliance.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction with a general contractor.

+ Proficiency in project management and coordination.

+ Experience with projects ranging from $5 to $15 million.

+ Familiarity with healthcare, retirement community/homes/ living, and higher education construction projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Procore software is a plus.

+ Strong skills in design, estimation, and project scheduling.

+ Aspiration to grow from Project Engineer to Project Manager.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, with occasional site visits required. The company offers a supportive and growth-oriented environment, with benefits including 15 days of PTO, 6 holidays, profit sharing options, and a 3% match on 401k.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
