    Job Title: Project Manager - Medical Device ManufacturingJob Description

     

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and implement manufacturing strategies for the transfer and assessment of current venous thromboembolism clot removal products. This role involves accountability for all design transfer activities, ensuring the delivery of products on time, within scope, quality, and budget.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and oversee all design transfer activities to deliver products on time, within scope, and on budget.

    + Monitor and control project and product costs while identifying and mitigating project risks.

    + Activate and motivate project teams to drive project success and achieve goals on time.

    + Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and suppliers to understand end-customer needs and ensure successful project implementation.

    + Innovate and improve current project management tools and PMO governance.

    + Ensure stakeholder alignment and resource prioritization.

    + Manage employee performance and handle the escalation of workflow issues.

    + Review deliverables and conduct spot checks.

    + Plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.

    + Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.

    + Ensure projects are completed on time, according to specifications, and within budgeted costs.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

    + 6-8+ years of Project Management experience

    + PMP or equivalent certification preferred

    + Experience in the medical device industry

    + Strong project management skills

    + Proficiency in resource prioritization and stakeholder alignment

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Change Orders (ECO's, ECR's)

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    + Professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise

    + Good analytical skills and evaluative judgment

    Work Environment

    The role is an individual contributor position that requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience. The candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and apply professional expertise to resolve issues. The position offers 2 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
