    Job Title: GPS Bulldozer Operator

    Job Description

    Individuals will be operating equipment such as the GPS Dozer to performk fine grading. The role requires working outside the cab and performing manual labor tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, front end loaders, and vibratory rollers.

    + Perform rough and fine grading on construction sites.

    + Conduct manual labor such as cleaning tracks on track equipment at the end of the shift, assisting with grade setting, and installing silt fences.

    + Maintain a clean and uncluttered equipment cab.

    + Report necessary repairs and ensure proper lubrication and use of equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operation.

    + 2-3 years of experience operating excavators, dozers, and front end loaders.

    + Proficiency in grading, dozer operation, excavator operation, front end loader operation, commercial construction, and site development.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with motor graders and vibratory rollers.

    + Understanding of construction and rough grade techniques.

    + Ability to perform fine grading.

    Work Environment

     

    Individuals will work on average 40-50 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 7am to 5pm, depending on weather, with flexibility to work some weekends. The role involves conducting rough and fine grading on various job sites and performing general labor tasks. There are a total of 20 job sites, primarily located in the Richmond Metro area, with the furthest site in New Kent, VA.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
