Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Facility Maintenance Engineer, you will start each morning with a shift meeting to discuss the day's plans. You will receive a list of preventive maintenance tasks to complete and will be responsible for quickly responding to calls from the maintenance team. You will complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks daily and be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Attend shift meetings each morning to discuss the day's plans.
+ Complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks daily.
+ Respond promptly to calls from the production team.
+ Troubleshoot and repair production machinery including plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry and paint
Essential Skills
+ Experience with facility equipment and maintenance including tools use
+ Strong mechanical skills and basic understanding of electrical systems.
+ Proficiency in using a tools onsite
+ Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a bonus
+ Troubleshoot and repair production machinery including plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry and paint
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 5+ years of facility maintenance experience.
+ Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial and ambient climate-controlled. Steel toe boots are required. There are openings on the first shift (6am-2pm)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
