    _We are seeking a driven_ **_Lead Maintenance Technician_** _to join a leading chemical manufacturer in Aurora, Illinois. You will work closely with management and staff to address maintenance requirements and assist with improvement projects. This position may involve managing or training team members while ensuring smooth operations within the facility._

     

    **Schedule:** M-F 1 st shift (6:30a-3pm)

    **Pay:** $35 - $42/hr DOE

    **Location:** Aurora, IL

    **Terms:** Perm Hire w/ benefits

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment including blending and packaging equipment

    + Oversee the setup and management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the facility.

    + Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure availability when needed.

    + Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness in all tasks.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical, issues.

    + Install and repair industrial pumps, actuated and manual valves, and piping.

    + Support projects and coordinate external contractors for plant work.

    + Lead and train team members in maintenance and repair tasks.

    + Install production and facility equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.

    + Perform additional duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma minimum.

    + 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience within GMP manufacturing.

    + Experience with pneumatics, industrial pumps, packaging equipment, PLCs, conveyors, valves, motors, and hydraulic systems.

    + Experience with boilers, pipe cutting, welding, and industrial design is preferred.
