The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Cage Cashiers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests.

$15.00 - $16.00 / hour

What will you do?

+ Handle large sums of money including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services

+ Maintain an accurate count of banks

+ Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor

+ Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits

+ Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures

More about you

+ Must be at least 21 years of age

+ Six months’ cash handling experience; experience handling large amounts of money

+ Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction

+ Basic computer skills required (Microsoft office products word & excel)

+ No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

+ Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds

+ Exposure to secondhand smoke
