Within the Children and Families Specialty Plan (CFSP), and regardless of where a member lives, they will have access to the same basic benefits and services, including Physical health, Behavioral health, Pharmacy,_ _Intellectual/Developmental_ _Disabilities (I/DD) services, long term services and supports, Unmet health-related resource needs, and Integrated care management. North Carolina residency is required!
$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS
LOCATION** **: This is a field-based position and North Carolina residency is required. You will work virtually from your home when not in the field.
HOURS** **: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
TRAVEL** **:** **Travel is estimated at 25% with periodic overnight travel** **.
_This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement._
The Family Preservation & Prevention Clinical Care Manager (Manager II GBD Special Programs) is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of a comprehensive health care program that addresses the needs of our Foster Care members. These needs include physical health, behavioral health, and social services.
You will provide leadership for strategies and interventions related to the Child & Family Services Program with a particular emphasis on strengthening and supporting Family Preservation and family unification efforts. Oversee the CFSP Family Preservation and Prevention team of 6 regional clinical care advisors/clinicians within the 7 regions of North Carolina DSS, while also leading one region of your own.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
+ Directs and oversees program operations in support of corporate and health plan management.
+ Directs and collaborates with functional managers to develop and implement the steps necessary to manage program operations.
+ Identifies and develops opportunities for innovation and collaboration within local communities to increase effectiveness and quality of services to support family unification.
+ Provide innovative approaches to support family functioning within their local community while leading a dedicated team of professionals to work collaboratively with the family, their supports, and the System of Care to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
+ Evaluates program operations to improve efficiency of operations, financial return, customer service, and provider engagement.
+ Develops, communicates, and monitors program schedule, budget, and resources plan.
+ Manages resource utilization to ensure appropriate delivery of care to members and adequate coverage for departmental tasks and job responsibilities.
+ Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
For the State of North Carolina, in accordance with federal/state law, scope of practice regulations or contract, the requirements are** **:
+ An active and current license as an LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, or RN issued by the state of North Carolina.
+ MS/MA in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field, or a degree in nursing.
+ A minimum of 5 years of experience working with children, youth and families served by the child welfare system and/or familiarity with Systems of Care and the State agencies that are involved with their care.
+ A minimum of 3 years management experience of clinical staff serving the children and youth involved with Juvenile Justice and Social Services
Preferred Qualifications
+ 10 years of experience in agencies or organizations serving children, youth and family involved in Department of Social Services and Juvenile Justice, with a focus inbehavioral health and crisis services continuum
+ Prior experience in improving equitable access to care, quality of care, well-being, and sustainable health outcomes through prevention focused programing.
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to child welfare and health care services.
+ Excellent organizational and leadership skills, along with the ability to develop a team of licensed clinicians.
