About DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (https://youtu.be/H\_IrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About this position:
This position is accountable to the Deputy Chief Security officer and serves as a member of the management team of the Office of Michigan Cyber Security with responsibility to manage the Security Operations Center which is primarily responsible for mitigating all the cyber security threats to State of Michigan Information Technology infrastructure. This position also collaborates with the delivery team for asset and vulnerability management, data loss prevention and cyber analytics. The additional responsibilities of this position is to formulate, implement, and maintain a program of identifying best security practices for security incidence response to support the complex technical infrastructure of the State of Michigan.

Position Location/Remote Office:
This position is located in Dimondale, MI. This position may work a hybrid schedule (remote 3 days per week/office 2 days per week). Selected candidates who work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist, or equivalent experience.
Alternate Education and Experience
Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and three years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
Bonus Programs:Eligible employees with five years of service also receive annual longevity bonuses that grow as seniority increases. Some positions also may qualify for recruitment, retention, and performance bonuses or other special pay premiums.
