Overview
The Sr Manager – Warehouse Projects & Contracts oversees and optimizes warehouse contracts and strategic partnerships with 3PL suppliers; ensures compliance, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment with business goals; and manages vendor relationships and negotiating terms. This position will provide direction and integrated coordination of strategies and processes to affected stakeholders that will result in optimal levels of inventory through procurement and management of materials and logistics. This role will interface with project managers, material managers, third party warehouse and logistics companies, site personnel / construction contractors and may include direct or matrix supervisory responsibilities for material management personnel.

Responsibilities
+ Operationalize best practices, strategies, and training to drive a safety mindset.
+ Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts for warehousing, logistics, and related services.
+ Manage and direct the work of the Strategic Warehouse Contracts team, including overseeing employee performance, and developing employees through appropriate recruitment, coaching, counseling, training and development.
+ Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance with terms, and identify areas for improvement.
+ Manage contract renewals, terminations, and amendments.
+ Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
+ Develop and implement contract management strategies aligned with business objectives.
+ Analyze contract data to identify cost saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
+ Conduct market research and benchmark to ensure competitive contract terms.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouse and logistics service providers.
+ Act as a point of contact for vendors, addressing issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
+ Evaluate vendor performance and recommend actions to improve service quality.
+ This position may be assigned a storm role which will require work outside of normal business hours.
+ All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis is required.
+ A minimum of 8 years of experience in inventory, warehouse management, procurement, or related field, including at least 5 years of formal supervisory experience
+ Valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong leadership and warehouse / purchasing / management skills to effectively manage 3PL relationship.
+ Strong leadership and management skills to effectively manage and develop employees.
+ Advanced experience in Excel including ability to develop charts, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective and efficient inventory and warehouse management strategies.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills to interface with other departments and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
+ Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management software and systems to monitor and analyze performance metrics and ensure accurate inventory records.
+ Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.

Potential exposure to heat, cold, stress, dirt, noise, etc. in company operating environments and storage facilities.
