Job Description

The Enterprise Account Management Analyst develops and manages processes and customer relationships in order to maintain and grow high-potential accounts for the purpose of increasing our wallet share within them. This position provides superior analytical and inter-personal skills while working directly with multiple departments to increase our presence through service line expansion, as well as, providing an industry-leading Customer Experience. The Enterprise Account Management Analyst offers a high degree of responsibility and exposure to numerous aspects of the transportation business, including pricing, sales, marketing, and all modes of freight movement.

Responsibilities

* Provide market-competitive quotes for ArcBest customers with a focus on maintaining profitability and market share while making pricing decisions on multiple-quote scenarios and providing rates to customers on electronic bid board.

* Have a strong competency in digital customer engagement while utilizing all channels of digital communication.

* Build relationships and directly communicate with customers to identify requirements and instill confidence in the company's ability to meet agreed upon requirements.

* Design and implement customized solutions to meet the ever-changing requirements for high-output and high-potential customers.

* Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.

* Grow ArcBest wallet share within the teams managed accounts while leveraging cross-sell techniques, tactical oversight, and strategic problem solving.

* Provide account reporting on a regular basis.

* Provide weekend and after-hours coverage, as required.

* Other duties and projects, as assigned.

* Establish a consistent cadence for conducting business reviews while creating the format, content, and deliverables needed to satisfy the customers' expectations.

* Monitor the compliance of standard operating procedures and correct potential non-conformance for assigned accounts.

* Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment while providing industry leading customer solutions and service.

* Create and architect solutions to become the preferred point of contact for their managed accounts.

Requirements

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree, preferred

* Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

Experience:

* Prior logistics experience, preferred

* Knowledge of ABF's costing model and ArcBest billing, coding, costing, and capabilities.

* Knowledge of tariffs, service-level pricing, and the state of the market.

Computer Skills:

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Other Details

Work Hours:

* Work hours vary based on scheduling to provide market coverage during normal business hours, generally Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 7:00 pm. May include occasional irregular and weekend hours depending on workload.

Compensation:

* This is a salary position paid biweekly.
