We are hiring a part time Fitness Specialist to join our team. Ideal candidate would be available for 4 days per week at 6 hours per day. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.

How you will make an impact:

+ Instructing fitness classes for senior population with varying abilities.

+ Performing fitness orientations for residents.

+ Performing one on one personal training sessions.

+ Promoting and assisting in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and physical independence for older adult population.

+ Maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for residents throughout the three fitness centers and aquatics center.

+ Assisting with coordination and implementation of wellness/fitness programming.

+ Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training with the ability to work with high risk population.

+ Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need:

+ Associate’s degree in Health Education or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

+ Current CPR/First Aid certifications.

+ Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.

+ Minimum of 1-year related work experience.

Compensation: $20-25/hour
