    Summary:

    We are seeking a highly talented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager focused on Meta Reality Labs wearables, reporting to the Director of Eyewear Sales. This role will lead all activities standing up new customers in a B2B flow. The candidate should possess leadership and analytical skills and experience to communicate and collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional partners - including Category Management, Product Management, Business Development, Data Science, Channel Marketing, and Sales Operations. The position entails establishing and strengthening relationships both internally and externally.The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to create efficient processes with a high focus on execution. This candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. This role requires travel to meet key accounts face to face.

    Required Skills:

    Business Development Manager, RL Optical Channel Responsibilities:

    1. Forming partnerships and developing trusted relationships across cross-functional teams

    2. Partnering with cross-functional leadership to define and develop scalable processes to identify growth opportunities and drive efficiencies

    3. Providing clear process mapping for internal/external stakeholders

    4. Providing product feature expertise and consistently demonstrate this value to retail partners

    5. Developing standard operating procedures for initiating new account set up and flows

    6. Leading strategic communication and engagement with retail partner leadership team

    7. Demonstrating an understanding of partner business strategy and objectives

    8. Developing & executing strategic engagement plan & participation strategy for key retail partner Initiatives

    9. Owning and driving annual retailer contract process while gaining internal alignment and cross-functional approvals

    10. Leading customer projects and meetings, communicating key deliverables and holding team accountable on results

    11. Demonstrating expert-level command of dashboards and tools and can communicate to the customer

    12. Sharing knowledge with leadership team and across the organization

    13. Acting as consultative industry & product knowledge expert to retail partner and internal cross-functional teams

    14. Demonstrating an understanding of market share of category, retail partner, and product

    15. Traveling to strategic events and customer meetings as required, including internationally

    Minimum Qualifications:

    16. BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience

    17. 5+ years in a role demonstrating execution strategy

    18. 3+ years of product knowledge launches or training

    19. Experience in strategy in both business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available to drive retail sales

    20. Experience in go-to-market planning and execution

    21. Communication and presentation skills with business acumen

    22. Experience advocating for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies

    Public Compensation:

    $129,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
