Overview

The Procurement Specialist Level III is responsible for executing strategic procurement activities, ensuring seamless coordination of supplier drop shipments, and maintaining procurement operations critical to IGT’s contractual commitments. This role requires expertise in SAP MRP systems, supplier management, logistics coordination, and invoice reconciliation. The specialist must operate with a strong sense of urgency and precision to mitigate risks related to liquidated damages and delivery delays.

Responsibilities

1. Drop Ship Coordination:

o Manage procurement and supplier coordination for lottery system materials and peripherals.

o Ensure timely drop shipments directly from suppliers to customer locations within contractual timeframes.

o Prevent any violations of time allotments that could lead to financial penalties.

2. System-Level Procurement:

o Acquire supplier quotations and execute purchase orders.

o Set costs in SAP and manage expediting efforts.

o Coordinate logistics and clear invoices for payment.

3. Engineering Change Order (ECO) Management:

o Distribute ECO updates and execute related procurement changes.

o Update SAP info records and maintain cost and purchase order accuracy.

4. BOND Purchase Order Creation and Maintenance:

o Coordinate with contract manufacturers to balance BOND PO quantities.

5. Last Time Buy Execution:

o Collaborate with engineering, product management, and suppliers to facilitate final component purchases.

6. Reporting and Coordination:

o Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders.

o Compile and distribute weekly procurement reports, including invoice numbers for all closed orders.

o Ensure SAP updates are executed across procurement operations.

o Participate in regular supplier and logistics meetings to track order statuses and forecast accuracy.

7. Order Management and Inventory Control:

o Work within the management team to ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back-ordered or missing products.

o Assist the Supply Chain Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis.

o Effectively communicate with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate.

8. RMA and Warranty tracking

o Create functional tracking records to manage warranty execution.

o Assist with RMA execution and coordination as needed.

o Work cross functionally with Quality to facility RMA execution ensuring that customers have uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.

• Expertise in SAP MRP systems.

• Strong supplier relationship management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with drop shipment logistics and project-based procurement processes.

_At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable._
