Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and personal injury law and be adept at managing cases effectively from start to finish. This role requires excellent analytical skills, legal expertise, and the ability to handle various legal processes efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of civil litigation and personal injury cases, including initial assessments and court proceedings.

• Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, with precision and attention to detail.

• Utilize case management software to organize, track, and update case files and related documentation.

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisement.

• Handle client complaints and claims administration, ensuring a thoughtful and empathetic approach.

• Collaborate with colleagues and external parties to gather evidence, draft legal arguments, and negotiate settlements.

• Review and manage documents using document management systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Provide legal counsel on consumer-related matters, including disputes in the electronics sector.

• Represent clients in court hearings and settlement discussions, advocating effectively on their behalf. Requirements • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law.

• Proven experience in civil litigation and personal injury law, with a strong track record of case management.

• Proficiency in using case management and document management software.

• Skilled in legal research and drafting, with familiarity in tools like Adobe Acrobat.

• Strong understanding of claims administration and complaint handling processes.

• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
