Description We are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team in Oxnard, California. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, preparing insightful reports, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Generate and update detailed sales and margin reports segmented by customer and product.
• Conduct variance analyses comparing monthly and quarterly sales performance against established budgets and goals.
• Evaluate sales and margin trends across product lines and business divisions to identify key insights.
• Prepare comprehensive inventory reports, including aging, turnover, and monthly analysis, while supporting annual inventory counts.
• Compile and submit accurate royalty reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to relevant partners.
• Collaborate with accounting to review and accrue customer allowances as needed.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by updating sales projections and analyzing departmental budgets.
• Develop compliance and audit reports, such as supplier recovery and customer account reviews.
• Support the sales team by reviewing pricing structures and margin templates tailored to specific customers.
• Provide analytical expertise to other departments on an as-needed basis. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis and inventory management.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and inventory management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving expertise.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with experience in Power BI preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory analysis and financial planning processes.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
