Robert Half is partnering with one of the top plaintiff trial firms in California in an exciting search for a skilled Law and Motion Attorney.

This is a highly respected plaintiff trial firm in Los Angeles, California, and offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with the strongest legal writing credentials to contribute to high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases. Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including discovery motions, oppositions to motions for summary judgment, trial briefs, and appellate briefs.

• Handle evidentiary motions, jury instructions, and post-trial motions with precision and attention to detail.

• Create mediation briefs and settlement agreements to support case resolutions.

• Occasionally represent clients in depositions or court hearings as needed.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support arguments and case strategies.

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure consistency and excellence in case preparation.

• Maintain strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments effectively.

• Uphold the firm’s reputation by delivering high-quality legal writing and analysis.

• Stay updated on changes in personal injury law to enhance case strategies.

Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in California.

• At least 5 years of experience specializing in law and motion work, with a strong background in legal writing.

• Proven expertise in civil litigation, particularly in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

• Ability to draft high-quality legal documents, including trial briefs, appellate briefs, and settlement agreements.

• Exceptional research and analytical skills to develop compelling arguments.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.

• Experience working remotely with a proven track record of delivering results in a remote setting.
