The Role

Our Energy & Utilities Consulting group is looking for a **Consulting Manager** to join our journey.

We’re looking for **Consulting** **Manager** who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a **Consulting Manager** (which is a **Manager** level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Consulting Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AMI and a strong understanding of Smart Grid Operations. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site in Manhattan, with minimal travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving project success and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Business Analyst position with experience in the Utilities , emphasizing the need for strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

+ Experience in implementing Demand response, energy efficiency programs will be an added advantage

+ Ability to lead client workshops and interviews

+ Perform Requirement analysis and documentation

+ End of end process flows and user journeys

+ Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution

+ Work with developers and designers to ensure business needs are met in software or system solutions.

+ Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure they align with business requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

+ Strategic and tactical analysis, project feasibility assessment, stakeholder management, knowledge of business concepts, and the ability to handle ambiguous tasks.

+ The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to professional development, and the ability to manage team dynamics effectively.

**Required Education:** Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or Management degree strongly preferred

**Work Authorization:** Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until **June 20** **th** **, 2025** .

The annual salary for this position is between **$81,450.00 – $129,500.00** depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
