Job Summary

The SS9 Modernization Lead role is pivotal in driving the technical success of our projects. With a focus on containerization Kafka and database technologies the candidate will leverage their expertise in Spring Boot and AWS to develop robust solutions. This remote position requires a deep understanding of field work operations ensuring seamless integration and optimization of processes.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement scalable applications using container technologies to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

+ Utilize Kafka for real-time data processing and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

+ Design and optimize Oracle-SQL and PostgreSQL databases to support application requirements and improve data retrieval performance.

+ Lead the development of microservices architecture using Spring Boot to ensure modular and maintainable code.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS services enhancing application scalability and security.

+ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous system availability.

+ Implement best practices for DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and reduce time-to-market.

+ Oversee the integration of field work operations domain knowledge into technical solutions optimizing workflows and processes.

+ Mentor junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.

+ Engage in regular meetings with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

+ Possess extensive experience in container technologies demonstrating the ability to deploy and manage applications efficiently.

+ Have a strong background in Kafka showcasing expertise in real-time data processing and integration.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle-SQL and PostgreSQL with a proven track record of optimizing database performance.

+ Exhibit advanced skills in Spring Boot capable of developing robust microservices architecture.

+ Show expertise in AWS with experience in integrating cloud services to enhance application scalability.

+ Experience in field work operations is a plus providing valuable insights into domain-specific challenges and solutions.

+ Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
