The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic Principal with excellent communication skills, with a background in business analytics, intelligence, and strong logic and problem solving. Reporting to the Manager of the Stipulation Optimization team, this position's primary responsibilities will include strategy development and performance analysis to optimize stipulation portfolio results. The ideal candidate must be passionate about delivering results, must be an innovative and strategic thinker, willing to challenge status quo, can learn quickly, is self-motivated, detail oriented, and can sift through voluminous amounts of information to pinpoint which items are relevant to understanding Business results. They will be able to apply knowledge of business and balanced judgment in interpretation of data (analytics).

The Work Itself

* Principal function responsible for leading the progress of the business analytics functions.

* Heavy emphasis on business partnering and subject matter expertise in not only data but how the business operates.

* The Principal will utilize their strong knowledge of data storing and processing large sets of data.

* Will proactively lead large projects.

* Streamline software usage to improve or reduce vendor costs/licenses.

* Assist in creating analytic knowledge synergies across the organization.

The Skills You Bring

* 5+ years of analytics experience required

* Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred

* Experience with logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis, mathematical program is a plus

* Strong application knowledge of SAS Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills

* Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts

* Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
