    System One is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meter Reader to join our team for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate utility readings and maintaining high standards of customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct accurate and timely manual readings of gas and electric meters.

    + Record meter index data into computerized handheld systems with precision.

    + Identify and report hazardous conditions, meter tampering, and any irregularities in meter conditions.

    + Complete assignments efficiently and within designated timeframes to ensure data integrity.

    + Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

    + Adhere to all safety policies and practices, actively participating in safety meetings and training sessions.

    Qualifications:

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and report findings.

    + Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.
