Clinical Research Nurse

This role involves coordination activities for cooperative group studies and pharmaceutical trials, working with various disease groups and physicians. The nurse will handle patient identification, consent, screenings, testing, follow-ups, and management guidance for providers. Additionally, responsibilities include handling blood samples, but exclude data entry and regulatory tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate activities for cooperative group studies and pharmaceutical trials.

+ Identify potential patients by reviewing clinic schedules and pre-screening.

+ Work with providers to inform them about patient management.

+ Consent and organize all screenings, testing, and follow-ups with patients.

+ Guide providers on patient management, dosing, and care.

+ Spin blood samples, store, and ship samples.

+ Assist with scheduling and patient visits.

+ Collaborate with 14 physicians across various disease sites.

Essential Skills

+ Active Registered Nurse license.

+ Must have Oncology or clinical research experience (both are preferred, but must have one or the other!)

+ 3+ years of experience.

+ Proficiency in clinical care, chart review, and patient recruitment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Oncology Clinical Research experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
