    Job Title: Micro Lab Technician (Entry-Level)

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Salary: $23.00/Hr

We are seeking an Entry-Level Micro Lab Technician to join our team, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) while maintaining laboratory integrity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct aseptic microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products using USP agar methods.

    + Handle live microbiological agents and cultures while performing growth promotion testing.

    + Collect and analyze environmental monitoring samples (USP Purified Water, air, surfaces).

    + Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the Micro Lab per SOP standards.

    + Evaluate trends in data and support SOP/methodology development.

    + Review and approve laboratory data for accuracy and GMP compliance.

    + Calibrate and operate laboratory instrumentation for microbiological testing.

    + Assist with inventory management to maintain adequate lab supplies.

    + Support Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations and corrective actions.

    + Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding special testing requirements.

    + Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.

    + Strong understanding of scientific principles and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to interpret technical data and follow SOPs accurately.

    + Excellent math, reasoning, and organizational skills.

    + Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

    + Experience with microbiological testing apparatus such as microscopes, pour plates, and vacuum filtering.

    + Proficiency in relevant computer software and lab systems.

    + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
