    Job Title: Electrical Designer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an Electrical Designer with 1-10 years of experience in designing and drafting industrial panels. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to design electrical circuits in accordance with NEC requirements for panels with electric motor loads. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

    Responsibilities

    + Interpret customer specifications, requirements, and project obstacles.

    + Specify hardware and components for control systems, including sizing and selecting electrical elements.

    + Design, layout, and configure control panels.

    + Create electrical schematics and wiring designs using AutoCAD.

    + Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage Engineering Change Notices or Requests (ECN/ECR).

    + Collaborate with customers, field sales, marketing, and production teams to achieve project goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD 2D, or AutoCAD LT.

    + Ability to design electrical systems and sub-assemblies to NEC standards and UL requirements.

    + Experience in sizing and selecting electrical components such as switches, relays, fuses, and sensors.

    + Competency in designing control panels and systems to NEC standards.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a similar Engineering Degree preferred, Bachelor's Degree accepted.

    + Minimum of 1 year experience in taking engineers' specifications to create control panel designs.

    + Experience with EPlan is a plus.

    + Exposure to PLC troubleshooting or programming is beneficial.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
