Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
The Controls Engineer is responsible for overseeing the completion of conveyor upgrade and system integration projects. This role involves developing, creating, testing, implementing, and commissioning PLC programs for conveyor systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, codes, and requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and create PLC programs for conveyor systems following in-house programming standards.
+ Test, implement, and commission PLC programs, ensuring compliance with system design drawings and project specifications.
+ Prepare detailed and annotated PLC programs that meet customer specifications and system design requirements.
+ Complete field testing documentation and undertake field commissioning and start-up activities.
+ Fill all commissioning documents for Level 1 and Level 2 commissioning.
+ Collaborate with project managers, customers, and team members to discuss and understand project specifications, scope, and design requirements.
+ Travel to job sites as required for commissioning and start-up activities of assigned projects.

+ Experience with Allen Bradley and RSLogix
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field
+ 2-5 years of relevant Controls Engineering experience

+ Experience with Industrial Control Networks

+ Material Handling
Work Environment
You will be supporting onsite for the first 9 months with little to no travel. Then once you are up to speed/trained will be traveling up to 75% yearly. Amazing benefits, PTO, and holiday pay. 10% yearly raises are also included.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
