    Job Title: Generator and mobile HVAC technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Pump & Power Equipment Technician to schedule and perform diagnostics and repairs on various types of equipment, ensuring top-notch service and maintenance. This role involves documenting equipment status, maintaining service records, creating warranty claims, and performing preventative maintenance.

    Responsibilities

    + Schedule and perform basic and Tier 4 diagnostics and repairs on equipment.

    + Document equipment status before and after rental, including work order details.

    + Communicate equipment issues to customers, foreman, and supporting mechanics.

    + Perform diagnostics on Power/Pump/HVAC/Load Bank and Compressor equipment.

    + Run install crew for project setup on customer job-sites.

    + Maintain service records and create warranty claims.

    + Perform rent ready inspections on assigned equipment.

    + Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural gas applications and check gas connections.

    + Document projects, including daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, and JSS.

    + Collaborate with Service Managers and Rental Operations to meet rental equipment standards.

    + Dispose of hazardous materials responsibly and safely.

    + Adhere to all prescribed safety standards.

    + Be available for on-call emergency service as scheduled.

    + Perform duties of the Level 1 job.

    + Complete SMFs, warranties, and order parts.

    + Commission new equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.

    + **EPA section 608 Universal Certification.**

    + Understanding of basic refrigeration and EPA certification.

    + Knowledge of electrical engines and controllers.

    + Experience with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.

    + Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring.

    + Understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.

    + Knowledge of compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercooler).

    + Ability to read and understand electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.

    + Project management and customer service skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Operational process/system aptitude.

    + Experience with similar equipment preferred.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
