Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient billing processes, handling insurance claims, and ensuring accurate and timely payment for dental services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental billing procedures and insurance policies.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and submit dental claims to insurance companies

+ Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits

+ Handle patient billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation

+ Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances

+ Collaborate with dental staff to ensure accurate billing information

+ Ensure compliance with dental practice policies and procedures

+ Assist with patient intake and registration as needed

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in dental billing or related field preferred

+ Previous experience in dental or healthcare billing

+ Strong understanding of dental billing procedures and insurance policies

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Proficient in dental practice management software

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

+ Detail-oriented and organized

+ Compassionate and patient-focused

Preferred Skills:

+ Certification in dental billing or related field

+ Experience with insurance billing and coding

+ Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
