    General Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled IT Product Owner to support the Qualcomm Device Cloud (QDC) platform. **Qualcomm Device Cloud is a** **platform that enables remote development and testing of applications using the latest Qualcomm technologies** . It provides access to a wide range of devices powered by Snapdragon® and other Qualcomm platforms, allowing developers, partners, and OEMs to test, debug, and validate their applications in a controlled and secure environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional IT teams to ensure the successful expansion and management of QDC services. The ideal candidate will have cross-domain IT infrastructure expertise, excellent communication skills, and ability to develop business cases and interact with finance and engineering.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Product Vision and Strategy: Working with business leaders, develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategic goals.

    + Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    + Performance Monitoring: Establish, monitor, and ensure adherence to defined service level agreements (SLAs) for the Qualcomm Device Cloud. Continuously improve the product based on user feedback and performance metrics.

    + Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate progress, updates, and changes to stakeholders of all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.

    + Demonstrate a proficient, in-depth understanding of the technologies utilized by the product and advocate for regulatory compliances for owned applications

    + Seen as the go-to subject matter expert for technology solution and related business processes

    + Manage development and documentation of requirements from global Stakeholders using use cases and scenarios

     

    Skills and Qualifications

     

    + Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    + Experience: 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on IT infrastructure and service delivery. Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

    + Customer Focus: Passion for understanding and addressing customer needs and delivering value.

    + Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

    + Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

    + Skills:

    + Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies (networking, DC operations, Microsoft O/S, compute hardware, etc.)

    + Product management best practices

    + Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

    + Financial acumen and ability to build business cases

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, IT or related field.

    • 1+ year of experience in IT-related area.

    • 2+ years of experience supporting project management and execution.

    • 1+ year of experience with project management tools (e.g., dashboards, Visio).

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Creates and updates project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structure for large projects or processes.

    • Develops mechanisms and tracks the progress and execution of complex projects to ensure deadlines are met.

    • Directs team resources to accomplish objectives; delegates and provides guidance and direction to team members.

    • Develops and leads the evaluation of solutions for complex problems; formulates and directs the implementation of a clear resolution plan.

    • Defines, develops, and manages new processes and methods (e.g. tracking tools, schedules, databases, documentation management systems) to increase efficiency and accomplish goals across multiple groups; trains others on use of new processes and methods.

    • Schedules meetings, assists in the coordination of resources, and creates distribution lists; manages follow-up on project needs with other teams (e.g. engineers, legal) based on tasks (e.g., point of contact, number of configurations, timing of need) in order to meet deadlines.

    • Monitors costs and recommends budget decisions to ensure projects are being completed according to set budgets and resources to escalate cost issues to management and independently resolves cost issues.

    • Monitors and allocates resources to ensure that team members have necessary supplies to meet project demands while adhering to project budgets; anticipates potential resource gaps and resolves deficits within project budget and scope.

    • Develops and/or manages databases using advanced aspects of data management tools (e.g., Excel, agile).

    • Analyzes and interprets data and project metrics independently using advanced methods (e.g. macros, pivot tables, charts, graphs) and resolves inconsistencies; analyzes the financial impact of projects or solutions as well as analyzes budget (e.g. efficiencies, capital analysis) and works with finance to reconcile differences in reporting versus tracking.

    • Synthesizes moderately complex data and metrics into a summary of key trends, risks, and changes, and presents results in a report that can be easily understood by key stakeholders.

    • Regularly leads discussions and coordinates with a cross-functional team across team for large, complex projects to identify and meet needs, communicate progress, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and make recommendations.

    • Creates deliverables for meetings, technical documentation, and SharePoint management (e.g., meeting notes, draft email communications, presentations).

    Level of Responsibility:

    • Working independently with little supervision.

    • Providing some supervision/guidance to others.

    • Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).

    • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. May require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc.

    • Some financial accountability (e.g., manages a small budget, has input into P&L).

    • Completing most tasks with multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.

    • Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.

    • Using deductive problem solving to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.

    • May be solicited during strategic planning period.

    The responsibilities of this role do not include:

    • Influence over key organizational decisions.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree.

    High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant work experience.

    Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:

    $42.30 - $63.46

     

    The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
