The Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GME&E) team is seeking a strategic and operational Head of Creative Operations & AI Integration to scale Microsoft’s internal content creation capabilities by integrating AI, data, and insight-driven workflows across every step of the process — from briefing through optimization. This role will accelerate content velocity, performance, and consistency across key commercial areas, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Security. You’ll bring experience in content operations, brand/agency workflows, AI-enabled creative tools, and real-time data integration. Your mission: architect the systems and processes that enable Microsoft to deliver high-impact, compliant, and insight-informed content across video, design, text, and social channels.

Responsibilities
+ Design and implement end-to-end content workflows that integrate AI from ideation to publishing.
+ Incorporate generative and automation tools
+ Partner with brand, legal, engineering and creative leads to define governance, content standards, and AI workflows that ensure compliance and quality.
+ Embed social listening, search trends, and performance signals into upstream content strategy and live iteration.
+ Operationalize a closed-loop content system where inputs from Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Power BI, and first-party data drive content optimization.
+ Lead integration across content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), and collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
+ Develop operational playbooks, onboarding programs, and AI enablement resources for internal teams and agency partners.
+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure workflow efficiency, content velocity, and the business impact of AI-powered content production.
+ Collaborate with analytics, social, and creator strategy leads to ensure creative execution aligns with audience behaviors and business goals.
+ Monitor and adapt to emerging tools, AI advancements, and content governance trends to future-proof creative operations.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Humanities, Digital Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in production and operations within an agency or large brand studio.
+ OR Master's Degree in Arts, Humanities, Digital Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years people management experience.
+ Experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment, collaborating with multiple approval layers in a highly matrixed, cross functional organization.
+ Experience managing budgets and vendors.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Humanities, Digital Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field AND 11+ years experience working in production and operations within an agency or large brand studio.
+ OR Master's Degree in in Arts, Humanities, Digital Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years people management experience.
Content Design M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
