    Description:

    Our client is seeking a Project Finance Specialist who will be responsible for project financial activities related to power grid infrastructure.

     

    _Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

     

    _Rate: $35 - $45 / hr. w2_

    Responsibilities:

    This position focuses on reimbursement monitoring and backend processes including thorough reviews of the monthly cost monitor report, project close out, tracking and managing unbilled accounts receivable, CIAC adjustments, collections communications, project cancellations, billing corrections, collaboration with Project Controls, and program support with the accounting and finance departments. Other duties may involve project setup, contract creation, billing for state Transportation Departments and municipalities, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and various agencies.

    Experience Requirements:

    Must have:

    + GAAP Knowledge

    + Project Finance/ accounting experience

    + Strong MS Excel

    + Experience with enterprise-level database systems

    Nice to have:

    + Systems experience: Systems like Peoplesoft, powerplan, primavera

    + Project Controls experience would also be a plus

    Education Requirements:

    + Degree in finance or accounting

     

    _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
