Job Overview

We are looking for a **Resident Assistant** to join our team at Willows Bend senior assisted living and memory care in Fridley, MN! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care schedule includes;

+ 16 hours every two weeks

+ Part time, Evening shift

+ Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities:

+ Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.

+ Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.

+ May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.

+ Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff

+ Assists with onboarding of new staff

Required:

+ Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting

+ Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population

+ CNA certificate required if under 18

+ Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines

Preferred:

+ High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course

+ One to three years of previous experience

_Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $21.32 - $29.57 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience._
