The Opportunity

The Network Director of School Operations in Residence (NSDO) is a full-time, immersive leadership development role designed to prepare a high-impact leader to assume full responsibility for school-based operations across Prodeo Academy's campuses beginning in July 2026. During the 2025-26 school year, the NDSO in residence will work under the direct coaching and management of the Network Director of Operations who will retain ultimate accountability for operational outcomes while preparing the NDSO in residence to assume that role permanently.

Key Responsibilities

+ Strategic Operations Design and Implementation

+ Assess Prodeo's current school-based operations model and identify areas for increased consistency, structure, and effectiveness.

+ Design and begin implementing a new school-based operations model that defines clear roles and responsibilities across campuses.

+ Create scalable systems that align with Prodeo's growth plans and evolving organizational needs.

+ Leadership and Management of School-Based Operations

+ Coach and co-manage Directors of Operations at each school site beginning July 2025, with full leadership transition by mid-year.

+ Partner with school-based DOOs to develop and implement best practices across areas such as family partnership, facilities, safety, compliance, finance, technology, transportation, food service, and event coordination.

+ Develop and implement performance expectations, rubrics, and KPIs, and goals to drive accountability and continuous improvement across school-based operations teams.

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration

+ Collaborate with instructional leaders to strengthen the partnership between school leadership and operations.

+ Maintain strong relationships with network support team members to ensure seamless integration of operations at both the school and network level.

+ Professional Learning and Development

+ Receive ongoing coaching from the Network Director of Operations.

+ Engage in structured learning on systems design, leadership development, change management, and operational strategy.

+ Learn from and contribute to a peer cohort of leadership residents, including Prodeo's Principals in Residence.

Timeline and Future Opportunities

+ Residency term: July 2025 through June 2026.

Qualifications

+ Deep belief in Prodeo Academy's mission and the role of operations in supporting educational excellence.

+ Proven ability to lead through influence, manage complexity, and drive results in a fast-paced setting.

+ Strong strategic thinking, systems orientation, and organizational planning skills.

+ Ability to coach others and manage team performance toward clear goals.

+ Effective communicator and relationship-builder with internal and external stakeholders.

+ Minimum of six years of professional experience and two years in a leadership role is required. Experience managing and coaching other leaders is preferred.

+ Experience in school operations or education, especially at a high performing charter school network, is strongly preferred.

+ Bachelor's degree required.

Compensation and Benefits Prodeo Academy offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. This role is compensated on Prodeo's Network Director compensation model with a salary range of $75,000 - $122,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
