Description

SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Senior Logistics Analyst to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the DTAMM is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Support material acquisition and material logistics requirements.

+ Create and manage Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs), bill of materials and solicit engineering estimates from suppliers to create a complete purchasing package for approval.

+ Track orders from start to finish while maintaining close communication with the program teams.

+ Enter purchase requests (PRs) in Costpoint for Purchase Order (PO) creation and conduct P-Card purchases.

+ Identify and work to resolve critical delivery dates, ensure physical goods receipts are completed and post PO goods receipts (GRs) in Costpoint.

+ Support sparing determination and fulfillment activities, software license management, and hardware warranty management. This includes the following onsite efforts: inventory validation, identifying equipment reuse/disposal, determining spares candidates, providing Tier IV hardware processes, documenting and tracking software license purchase and usage, and Remedy Asset Management reporting training.

+ Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) with suppliers for equipment requiring replacement.

+ Assist in developing, planning and implementing Integrated Logistics Support for the life cycle of assigned system / equipment from concept through fielding and deployment, in-service support, and retirement. Assist in supply support research, APL research, etc.

+ Provide support for integrated logistic support (ILS) package delivery for installations.

+ Maintain property accountability records.

Qualifications

Required Education:

+ Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.

Clearance:

+ Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret Clearance.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
