Posting Description
CATALYST PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES), responsible for overseeing the logistical and administrative functions that ensure seamless execution for MIT LinQ programs. Will provide a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with the authority to independently design workflows, resolve operational challenges, and implement systems that enhance overall program efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day operations, event planning, scheduling, and providing comprehensive administrative support to faculty, fellows, and advisory panels. Will serve as a trusted point of contact and strategic support to Professor Martha Gray, IMES Faculty and LinQ Director, prioritizing competing demands, representing Professor Martha Gray’s interests in stakeholder engagements, and ensuring alignment with key objectives.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : bachelor’s degree in a related field or possess equivalent professional experience. Two years’ experience in administrative operations or program coordination, preferably within an academic or research environment. Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and resolve process challenges proactively; strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of faculty, fellows, and external advisors; strong organizational and time management abilities, as well as experience in planning and managing events with professionalism and efficiency; coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; proficiency in scheduling tools and remote collaboration platforms; available for occasional evening or weekend events and must maintain consistent engagement, responsiveness, and accessibility throughout designated work hours.
