We have an exciting **hybrid** opportunity for an **Associate Director & Counsel for Pratt & Whitney’s Large Commercial Engines** !!

This business includes both the GTF and the mature engine platforms, including engines for the V2500, PW4000, PW2000, GP7000, JT8D, and Pratt & Whitney Power Systems model engine programs.

What You Will Do:

This is a customer facing role providing transactional support across all aspects of the P&L, including negotiating complex commercial agreements with customers and airframers globally, providing program support, advising on regulatory compliance and communications with customers, airframers, regulators, and program partners.

*Must have ability to travel to support business needs, including the ability for significant on-site presence in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) and 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm including experience with commercial transactions, M&A, or strong litigation experience resolving commercial disputes

+ Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration in a timely manner following hire

+ U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites

+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including a solid executive presence

+ Must be a strong leader and team player with excellent judgment and professional maturity

+ Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and provide guidance and practical solutions to cross-functional projects effectively and on time

+ Demonstrated ability to work with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities within compressed timeframes

+ Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing demands

**Hybrid:** Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
