    **Description:** You will be a Manufacturing Robotics Engineer for our Chelmsford, MA facility, designing and implementing core automation and robotic systems for our production factory\. Our team is responsible for creating innovative solutions that drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing operations, and you will play a key role in developing and implementing robotic systems that meet our production needs\.

     

    What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and programming robotic systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to implement automation and robotic solutions\. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    Designing and programming robotic systems to meet production requirements

     

    Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with robotic systems

     

    Collaborating with cross\-functional teams to implement automation and robotic solutions

     

    Developing and implementing robotic systems that meet safety and quality standards

    Staying up\-to\-date with emerging trends and technologies in robotics and automation

    Basic Qualifications:

    \- Master's degree from an accredited college in Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline\.

     

    \- Hands\-on experience designing and programming robotic systems\.

     

    \- Experience with robotics software\.

    Desired Skills:

    \- Experience with Python or similar object\-oriented programming language\.

     

    \- An understanding of underlying robotics hardware \-\- sensors, motors, microcontrollers, etc\.

     

    \- Excellent problem\-solving and debugging skills\.

     

    \- Experience with computer networking\.

     

    \- Experience with computer vision and/or machine learning concepts\.

     

    \- Familiarity with electrical and RF concepts\.

    \- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills \(multimeter use, hand soldering, and circuit testing\)

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Clearance Level:** Secret

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
