_***This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota or a bordering State (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin). Effective June 1, employees living within 50 miles of the office location listed above will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. For those who live 50 or more miles away, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance are eligible to telework up to 100% of the time.***_
This position serves as one of two training team leads and business technical assistance leads for the central grants office (CGO). This position provides training and technical assistance to both internal staff and external constituents. This position oversees the development, delivery, and maintenance of grant management education and systems.
Responsibilities include:
+ **Development of curricula and delivery of trainings to agency staff, for agency grant management consistent with state and federal laws, policies, and guidelines.**
+ **Develop trainings for external partners.**
+ **Plan, coordinate, and host conferences for community partners and grantees.**
+ **Provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders in response to questions and inquiries related to training surrounding grant management and grantee expectations/requirements.**
Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years professional experience demonstrating expertise with government grants and contracts competencies.
Experience must include:
+ Strong understanding of core contract and grant management standards and practices that include managing RFPs.
+ Familiarity with the technical and procedural aspects of the grant lifecycle process from Request for Proposal planning, to grant management, to close out for a variety of different contract types.
+ Data research skills sufficient to identify best practices, as well as abnormalities, and to track measurable results.
+ Program and project management skills that include tracking grant budgets and presenting program efforts.
+ Developing and providing trainings in multiple modalities, including live, virtually and through on demand recordings.
+ Experience working in Contracts Integration System (CIS), Agile Apps, or other contracts management systems.
_*Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Human Services, Public Administration or another related field may substitute for one (1) year of work experience._
_**Master’s Degree in Business, Education, Human Services, Public Administration or another related field may substitute for two (2) year of work experience._
Preferred Qualifications
+ Grant Management Specialist Certification.
+ Demonstrated aptitude utilizing video editing applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, with ability to provide samples of recorded trainings and demonstrate ability real time as part of the interview process.
+ Knowledge of project management and process improvement programs.
+ Skilled at using Enterprise Grant Management System, State-Wide Accounting Practices and SWIFT.
+ Quickly builds rapport and relationships with external players in the grantmaking field, including current and prospective grantees such as county, tribal, nonprofit, etc.
+ Basic understanding of adult learning methodologies.
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
