    Primary Role & FTE Percentage(s): Clinical (100%)

     

    Location with Associated FTE Emory University Hospital (EUH) * This is subject to change over time at the discretion of the department Chief or Chair.

    Clinical Service Expectations:

    Expectations within the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, the Emory Transplant Center, and Emory Heart and Vascular · Service as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with an active clinical practice within the Emory Transplant Center and Emory Heart and Vascular. · Administrative role directing clinical and clinical research activities in heart transplantation in the Emory Transplant Center and Emory Heart and Vascular · Oversight, in conjunction with the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation, of the regulatory components associated with heart transplantation Responsibilities subject to change at the discretion of service line and division leadership to address needs and opportunities.

    Teaching Expectations:

    Note, in keeping with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure, upon joining Emory you would be expected to participate in teaching, which may include occasional lectures, small group and bedside teaching, preceptorship, and mentorship. In addition, you will engage in other scholarly or academic activities
