Our client, a leader in the automation industry, is seeking a Controls Engineer Ignition to join their team. As a Controls Engineer Ignition, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Controls Engineer Ignition
**Location:** Columbus, MS
What's the Job?
+ Responsible for migrating PLC code on an existing line from Toshiba to Allen Bradley ControlLogix.
+ Implement visualization and HMI functions using Ignition.
+ Deploy to customer sites to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the migration process.
What's Needed?
+ Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
+ Familiarity with Ignition software is a plus.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
+ Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
