Description We are looking for a diligent Insurance Premium Payment Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a contract position requiring attention to detail and a strong background in medical billing and accounts receivable. The role involves working in a hybrid schedule following comprehensive in-office training, which typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Post payments accurately to member accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.

• Manage account discrepancies, including processing payments that are not honored by banks.

• Handle account adjustments, refunds, and memos with precision.

• Generate and distribute letters related to account activities.

• Conduct thorough reconciliation of accounts to maintain accuracy.

• Process adjustments and resolve account issues as directed by the Team Coordinator.

• Collaborate with the team to address other duties as assigned.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for efficient documentation and reporting.

• Provide responsive customer service, including answering inbound calls and routing inquiries.

• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or other accounting functions.

• Familiarity with medical billing processes and payment reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

• Strong customer service skills, particularly in handling inbound calls.

• Ability to manage refunds, adjustments, and account discrepancies.

• Experience with payment processing and account reconciliations.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
