As a **Security Professional - Unarmed Patrols** in **SAN JOSE, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at this bustling food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. If required, you may need to operate a vehicle as part of your duties. Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

+ Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during incidents.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements for driving positions.

+ California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
