The **Lead, Global Neurology Market Research** is responsible for providing market and customer insights through the execution of global market research that will help drive key strategic and tactical decisions across Neurology Portfolio at Sanofi Specialty Care with a focus on the Key Assets pillar. As a member of the Insights and Analytics (I&A) team, this individual will be an integral strategic partner to Sanofi’s Global Commercial leadership, leading the development and application of cutting-edge market research methodologies to achieve the full potential of Sanofi’s expanding Neurology portfolio.
This position will report to the Global Lead, Insights and Analytics for Neurology at Sanofi and will be based in Cambridge, MA.

Main Responsibilities:
Create and execute a Market Research strategy that:
+ Defines appropriate methodologies, consistent with business goals and efficiency/cost parameters
+ Innovates where marketing teams can leverage insights for decision making
+ Informs both high level strategic tradeoffs and operational execution
+ Delivers strategic insights, tailored to each specific audience, which empower Key Asset Commercial teams
Provide strategic guidance and ad-hoc support to the Sanofi Commercial teams, and the I&A organization
+ Play an active role in the brand planning process by contributing to the commercial/brand strategy, via grounding it in insights from market research
+ Keep up to date with innovative market research methodologies and vendors
+ Partner with other support functions (e.g., forecasting, analytics, competitive intelligence, market access) as necessary to provide integrated insights
+ Foster strong agency partnerships to ensure insights are based on reliable, high-quality information and research has a seamless process flow
+ Specialize across a number of different therapy areas, collaborating with Senior Directors/Directors in other brands to avoid duplication
+ Take part in commercial meetings and proactively identify business questions that market research can address
+ Present market research insights at Senior Leadership level

+ Oversee all market research projects to ensure high quality and valid of research
+ Have the confidence and experience to select the best vendor based on the business objectives
+ Ensure all projects follow relevant policies, including procurement, and SOPs
+ Coordinate vendors at each stage of the market research process and provide business/brand knowledge to aid in fieldwork material and report development
+ Sign off on final fieldwork materials and final reports, ensuring input from all relevant stakeholders
+ Develop engaging insights through innovative deliverables (e.g., avatar presentations) that have a clear call to action for key stakeholders
+ Lead and develop market research managers, Sr. managers and Associate Directors at vendors, hub locations, etc.
About You
Education Requirements
MS / MBA required
Skills and Competencies
+ A minimum of 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market research; equivalent combination of education (MBA / PhD) and / or relevant consulting experience may be considered
+ Strong understanding of all types of market research methodologies, with experience of conducting both quantitative and qualitative market research from end-to-end, including strong quantitative analytical skills, data analysis and statistics
+ Strong strategic thinking ability, with deep understanding of the life-sciences industry
+ Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balance competing priorities, and ensure high quality
+ Experience leading and developing high functioning teams
+ Experience across global, regional, local roles strongly required
+ Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., prescription and sales data, patient claims data, promotional audits) preferred
+ Product launch experience strongly required
+ Experience working directly within or partnering with related functions including new product planning, marketing, value & access) required

The salary range for this position is:
$148,125.00 - $213,958.33
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
