Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Inventory Control Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in data mining, business intelligence (BI), Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role involves providing metrics, creating PowerPoint presentations, developing dynamic dashboards and reporting on the cost of goods sold (COGS) inventory adjustments.
Responsibilities
+ Data Analysis: Utilize data mining techniques to analyze inventory data and identify trends.
+ Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain BI dashboards using Tableau and SAC to provide insights into inventory levels, at risk inventory, COGS, and adjustments.
+ Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory metrics, including COGS adjustments, and performance of actual to budget.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with Inventory Control Mangers, Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.
+ Process Improvement: Identify and provide recommended improvements to inventory control procedures.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
+ Presentation: Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations to communicate inventory performance and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
+ Proven experience as an Inventory Control Analyst or similar role.
+ Proficiency in data mining, BI tools, Tableau, and SAC.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems preferrably SAP and Manhattan.
+ Familiarity with COGS and financial reporting.
