    Job Summary

    The Software Architect will be responsible for designing robust software architectures, leading development teams, and actively participating in the coding process. This role requires a blend of architectural vision and strong hands-on development skills to ensure that solutions meet both functional and technical requirements. Experience in leading onshore-offshore teams is essential, as the Software Architect will work with minimal supervision and in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    Main Responsibilities

    + Design and implement scalable, dependable, and secure software architectures.

    + Function as a technical lead on projects, guiding development teams through the software development lifecycle.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define software requirements and specifications.

    + Participate in hands-on development tasks, demonstrating coding expertise in various programming languages and frameworks.

    + Develop architectural documentation and guidelines to ensure adherence to best practices.

    + Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

    + Identify and address technical risks and issues in the software development process.

    + Possess technical expertise in managing and supporting cloud-based applications (Microsoft Azure, AWS) to enhance system performance and scalability.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of mobile app development principles to contribute to cross-platform solutions and mobile initiatives.

    + Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to ensure effective collaboration and project execution.

    + Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

    + Ensure that team members are effectively utilizing the best practices and methodologies for both onshore and offshore operations.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

    + A minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience as a Software Architect, Lead Developer, or in a related role, demonstrating a proven track record of successful software project delivery.

    + Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.) and architecture frameworks.

    Programming:

    + Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, PHP, and Python.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

    Web Development:

    + Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js) for building interactive and responsive web applications.

    Mobile Development:

    + Experience with mobile app development and deployment using tools like Cordova and Ionic.

    Cloud Development:

    + Prior experience managing and maintaining applications hosted on cloud platforms, including designing, implementing, and managing Azure Functions and Event Hubs

    Database Management:

    • Create and debug stored procedures, views, and tables in SQL Server and MySQL.

    • Apply basic database administration concepts to ensure data integrity and security.

    API Development:

    + Design, create, and debug APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend and backend systems.

    + Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using POSTMAN, SOAPUI

    DevOps Practices:

    + Design and manage branching strategies within source control systems to streamline development processes. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

    Containerization and Orchestration:

    + Knowledgeable in development and deployment of containerized applications using containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

    + Security Best Practices:

     

    Understanding of application security principles, including secure coding practices and knowledge of common vulnerabilities.

     

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
