Job Description
The Financial Analyst for Revenue Operations is primarily responsible for assisting with the monthly billing and revenue accounting process. This role involves understanding revenue recognition policies, billing systems and processes, and pricing structures. The position supports month-end accounting processes, data analysis, accounting, pricing updates, cash applications, billing dispute processes, and report preparation.
Responsibilities
+ Understand, review, audit, and analyze contract and pricing arrangements to ensure billing aligns with contracts.
+ Oversee the processing and resolution of billing cases in Microsoft Dynamics.
+ Analyze and manipulate large data sets.
+ Investigate and resolve billing and financial issues.
+ Manage the production and distribution of monthly invoices to customers.
+ Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and conduct special projects and ad hoc analyses.
+ Assist with pricing updates, invoicing, payment applications, and resolution of customer balances.
+ Adapt processes to improve efficiency and support business objectives, shaping billing and pricing policy as needed.
+ Identify causes of billing errors and recommend process and system changes to reduce errors.
+ Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
+ Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
The position operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Candidates are expected to be onsite but may have a hybrid option based on managerial expectations. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
