    Job Title: Category Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies aimed at enhancing value and minimizing risk. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring market trends, costs, and supply dynamics to manage risk effectively.

    Responsibilities

    + Act as a subject matter expert on category-specific industry insights.

    + Segment suppliers and develop risk mitigation strategies.

    + Build strategic supplier partnerships for innovation and advantage.

    + Lead supplier meetings to drive performance and value.

    + Manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.

    + Conduct regular reviews and scorecards to improve supplier performance.

    + Support new product development by managing supplier involvement.

    + Oversee sourcing, negotiations, and RFP processes with cross-functional collaboration.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

    + Supplier negotiating and contract management skills

    + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in the resolution of product supply issues, execution of supply agreements, and delivery of cost improvement projects

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills

    + Strategic thinking skills

    + Project management skills

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

    + ISM (Institute for Supply Management) or ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management) certification is desired

    + Experience with cGMP regulations and dietary supplement/pharmaceutical supply chain is preferred

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
