    **Job Title:** Temporary Incoming Quality Inspector

    **Location:** Thornton, Colorado

    **Duration:** 3 month Contract (with the potential to go permanent)

    **Department:** Quality

    Compensation:

    + Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Incoming Quality Inspector to support our quality department with incoming inspection

     

    activities. This role is crucial to ensure that all components and materials received from suppliers meet defined specifications and quality standards prior to release into production.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other standard measurement tools.

    + Verify incoming materials against engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and inspection plans.

    + Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with company procedures and AS9100 standards.

    + Identify and tag non-conforming materials and coordinate with MRB (Material Review Board) processes.

    + Support traceability verification and proper documentation handling of all received items.

    + Communicate with the Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve discrepancies or issues.

    + Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in inspection or quality a plus.

    + 2+ years of experience in mechanical or aerospace component inspection preferred.

    + Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.

    + Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified environment is a plus.

    + Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail.

    + Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).

    Work Environment:

    + Manufacturing floor and quality lab environment.

    + Regular use of inspection tools and light lifting (up to 30 lbs).

    + Monday to Friday, standard business hours (flexibility may be available).

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
