Summary:

The Business Banking business Risk Analyst provides advanced support and front-line oversight for the Business Banking segment. This position involves working with colleagues across the segment and other lines of business to create a proactive and collaborative approach to managing business practices within the segment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with the Business Banking Risk Managers, SME’s and key partners (Segment Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc.) in support and execution of complex business risk programs supporting segment processes and risk/compliance strategies.

+ Assist Business Risk Administration Office initiatives by providing BAU support and act as a liaison with support partners, Business Banking segment and leadership on the initiatives.

+ Partners with Business Banking Risk Administration Office to identify opportunities for enhancement in the alignment and integration of risk standards and expectations, implementation and maintenance of proper controls.

+ Provide coaching and technical support to Business Banking colleagues to ensure adherence to operational processes and guidelines related to the business risk programs.

+ Participate in and perform functions related to highly visible projects that impact the business segment related to risk / compliance strategies, regulatory changes or business unit needs.

+ Maintain in-depth knowledge of segment processes and applications.

+ Accountability for identifying and escalating risk to key constituents (i.e. Leadership, Segment Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Fraud, etc.).

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ 5 years of experience in business or commercial banking or bank risk or compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Knowledge and experience in commercial/business credit, products and service preferred

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

+ Demonstrated ability to convey ideas verbally and/or in writing with a clear, concise and organized method appropriate for the intended audience

+ Proficient in managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines

+ Knowledge of current federal and state banking laws and regulations

+ Experience with Business Banking used applications including Velocity, HAWC and AFS is a plus

+ Strong analytical problem-solving skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills

Compensation Range:

$47,000 - $92,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
